No. KindaDek provides a good slip-resistant surface – wet or dry. It has been tested to British Standard BS7976 and passed. |

KindaDek has a much higher ignition than wood. Its Self-ignition Temperature is 450°C / 840°F, thus it is less likely to catch fire. KindaDek has been tested by Warrington Fire Service, the UK leading fire-testing facilities and passed BS476 Part 7 rating. |

Yes. Most heavy stains, dirt and mildew can be washed off by using a common deck cleaner available from most builder’s merchants and DIY stores.
Oil, grease and stubborn stains may require a de-greasing cleaner or light sanding to remove the stain. Keeping the deck clean, free of debris and maintaining drainage and ventilation gaps should allow for the minimum of maintenance.
Do not allow leaves and other debris to lie on the deck surface as this will cause staining and promote mildew growth. This can be easily removed by power washing but not over 1500psi. |
